gathering at the paw wont be outlawed if athletes that wanna leave the field can do so. But rushing the field immediately must stop.

when a brawl with a drunk fan happens.
The Gathering might just have to wait 45 seconds.
I wish we would gather in the end zone at the bottom of the hill. The opposite end of the field while the visitors are leaving on the other.

They have a policy to wait and say please wait. You ain’t gonna stop thousands of fans storming. Plus it doesn’t help when little Johnny is scrutiny weighing a buck 50 and sally is 60 years old with knee problems.

I am increasingly concerned that it will all be for naught. THE B1G and the SEC might not be inclined to allow Clemson (or FSU for that matter to join). The best outcome might be the ability to leave, but actually leaving might not be an option as there could be no place better to go.

Clemson could pay the fine for each game and still make a considerable increase in money with greater tv moneys. 2 mil for a 30-50 mil increase.

Meeting at the paw is not a field storm, in fact it’s usually pretty delayed… we would be fine. No different than Miss state and the cow bells (which are illegal)

In the next few years it will be outlawed by all conferences so that should not be a basis on our deciding on what conference to be in.

Good gracious. Is this a legit question? We are willing to lose 50 million a year so you can go on the field after the game?

Agreed. Selfish as h*ll for anyone to want to hold their school back from making what their rivals are making in order that they can jump a wall to run onto the field. Gathering at the paw can occur but just with the team, coaches and cheerleaders singing the alma mater.
Only a matter of time that what occurs now is coming to an end anyways with fines it's just that the lame ACC is always two steps behind the SEC. Same can be said of the B1G lagging the SEC.

The SEC rule is not just for rushing the field of play after a game, it does not allow fans on the field of play at all after a game.

Let's word this another way:
If you could choose between winning some more national championships in football, or gathering at the paw, which would you choose?
Before you say, "let's do both," you must understand how unlikely it was for us to garner enough talent and coaching and momentum to beat the best that the other conferences had to offer. That was a major uphill climb for us to win both of those, and that's why we were the underdog. To make it to six consecutive four-team CFPs was a tremendous accomplishment and an uphill climb.
We need that SEC or B1G tv money or what you've seen in the last three seasons will become the new normal. We need to be viewed by recruits on the same par as Bama or UGa or Ohio State or Michigan. The ACC is clearly in a second tier now alongside the Big XII, and we can't go down with the ship.

…I really like going onto the field after games.
When he was little, my son absolutely LOVED going on the field and catching passes from me after the game.
I hope Dabo gets into this part of any negotiations to keep the post-game gathering at The Paw.

While it's a special Clemson tradition, I'd rather fans stay in their seats and us know that we are making millions more a year for our athletic programs. That will help us be more competitive, which is the whole point here - not whether people can storm the field after a game.

You might be surprised to learn the tilt of the paw to 1 pm isn't what you think. It was not designed to reflect the traditional 1 pm start of college football games. That idea was added to it after the original design was released. The tilt toward 1 pm by the designer was to reflect the natural gait of a Tiger.

anyways . pretty sure as long as the visiting team has safely left the field , fans can get on the field . so just have police usher the away team off as soon as possible and never lose at home
