Obviously didn't see the scrimmage but from the report it looks like exactly what we thought. Great 1st team talent with some struggles in the second tier. Good to see peake and hopper playing well. We will be fine on offense if jay Guillermo and all the freshies come in the summer ready to go. I think that defense will be ok too especially if one or two freshman can add to the depth over there.

Sounds like the Staff saw what they needed to see in the scrimmage, and will have some things to correct before the end of Spring Practice. Little bit worried about the D and the secondary. But I' M sure it will be fixed in the remaining practices.

I'm afraid we are going to have a significant fall-off especially on DF. We had too big a loss of talent, and there is no one there to fill the gaps. Exceptions to that: Boulware and Shaq Lawson. Ol still poses a huge ? Hope I'm wrong. I think we are 1 yr. away.

I hope you're wrong ... I feel these guys will work hard and get better and better. It will depend on how much work they put into being good and their work ethics will show how they will progress.
I just hope they will make a strong commitment to study their play books, pay attention to what the coaches are telling them and be willing to believe in themselves and execute the way they are being taught. Talent can go just so far ... the rest is doing what you need to do to get that position. Sometimes one with more talent isn't willing to put in the work to get that position and then there is the hard worker who gets the job done. I just hope we've got the players who want to be Clemson Tigers and wants to get the job done.
If any of our Tigers reads this I just hope they dedicate themselves to doing what it takes to be a great team ... I emphasize ... great Team work...believing in each other and having each others back. Go Tigers!!! Work Hard...Execute like a well oiled machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe in these guys and I believe each of them has what it takes.

I agree about Guillermo (sp). If he does make it back this summer he won't dress. I think he's got some personal issues he's trying to address by being away from school. I totally respect that and also Dabo for keeping those issues in house. Wishing the young man the best of luck and hope everything works out for the best. There's a lot more things more important than football.

Count me in. Frank Howard said that he'd "Rather start at the back of the room and move to the front, than start at the front of the room and move to the back." I'll go with that.

CJ Fuller was the best performing back this afternoon by far. Broke off a few nice runs. Runs mean, didn't shy from contact, breaking a few tackles and crushing some DBs along the way. Gonna be a baller one day I think sooner rather than later.
Also, Leggetts touchdown was a beautiful one handed grab on a fade from the redzone. Had another deep pass down the right sideline that he grabbed with one hand and was bringing it in until Ryan Carter I believe got a hand in and knocked it away.

Also the freshman OL all look good. Mitch got several reps with the first team. Geilla was working on taking snaps with Ryan Norton. Milan Richard although on crutches is a full grown man. Gage Cervenka was in attendance.

I think I was like many on here about Fuller

I was high on him until that huge fumble that probably cost us a ACCG shot in the FSU game last year. He probably lost a lot of confidence too as the coaches did in him.
I look forward to his redemption this year. He is certainly capable. Now all he's got to do is just do it like we know he can.

That was Davidson, not Fuller. I'M pretty sure Fuller redshirted last year and has never had a game carry.

You would be correct lawdog. Fuller has never played a down. Also, Davidson is now wearing number 21 and looks like he's lost a few pounds.

Yeah, Fuller is the guy who red shirted last year. I am interested to see what he can do.
I still meant everything I said about Davidson!

Yeah lawdog is right. That was Davidson. Speaking of, Davidson took a big hit in the scrimmage about halfway through and went out holding his shoulder and didn't return.

There is depth at corner, just no experience. We got talent, it just needs to play.
Not to mention, its March.......
