Watched the replay....DJ missed TD pass to Beaux by maybe

being 1 foot too long, another to Williams by a yard or two, and another long one to a wide open Beaux. He could easily have had another 300 plus yard game. Soooo close.

Agree ... it was a fairly lame effort by Beaux. You see guys on other teams making that catch for long scores game after game.

Even if he has to dive for it and doesn’t catch it in stride, still should have had it.

That was a majorly good pass.

Our receivers are getting better, but that catch has to be made.

He did nothing last night to lose the game. Each time we needed an answer he went out there and did just that.

to having back to back to back 300 yard games. We could have easily beaten State by 30 points last night. If Beaux was .05 seconds faster in the 40...that was a long TD pass...

The slant and go to Collins needed to be caught. DJ could have made it a little easier on him, but that ball hit both hands without Collins even at full extension. He has to make that play.

The missed TD to Antonio Williams was less on DJ and more on him having to get rid of the ball about a half second too early. If the OL holds up for half a second longer he'd have it.

that 2nd and 20 insted of the off tackle run. And then againg down about the 30 on 1st and 15 maybe...As the season rolls on....I think DJ will get more chances to shine in those situations. Like when we had Trevor...2nd and lond and 3 in long were not much different than 3rd and two or three.....And the fact that he had time last night going against what, before last night,all the experts were saying was the best Dline in the league.....

One more play that just shows it was just not our night for rolling in 8 foot putts...was the sack by Barrett Carter to start the second half....How in the world did Riley hold on to that ball....9 out of 10 times that is a turnover. Maybe a scoop and score...

I'd only call one of those a true miss. One was a very catchable ball to Beaux. DJ was getting pressured on the pass to Williams.

It doesn’t bother me as much we didn’t connect. I am so happy to see receivers be open. I felt like last year was a struggle for receivers to get open. So it’s a plus to see! We will hit on a few!
