Trying to confirm I understand correctly. So the cap is 20.5 million per year? And the word on the street is we will use roughly 80% for football meaning we will have around 16 million a year to use on players/recruits. Plus what we raise in external NIL.

Is that correct?

I saw somewhere that NIL $ is about $8M - so call is $24M for a college football team

plus their usual ability to outgain us in NIL funds (only because we don't market our collectives or show the ability to use it).

There will supposedly be "oversight" to make sure NIL deals are truly NIL and promotion but they will certainly find ways around it to keep us behind the 8 ball.

We have guys coming to play for us now that could easily earn BIG $$ elsewhere. Wesco, Cade, TJx2, Woods, Brown, Williams, and more.

Adding $16 million will surely help us - even if the other guys get it too. There are guys that want to play at Clemson but they enticed to go play elsewhere for more money. If we can offer decent payments to these guys we will be able to attract more top talent.
