I'm predicting Guilty with a small chance of hung jury. I don't see 12 people all thinking he could be not guilty given the evidence.

And then you show them and they creep away and then come back then next day to ask it again.

I find this case minimally interesting. What I really want to see is Trump and his ###### army face consequences for what they did after the election out in the open.

Nothing to do with this case, you just want him found guilty because of other things in your mind he did. You sure would be a wonderful juror

If he agrees with you, instead of delaying the trial, he should be chomping at the bit to get this thing underway and, with an acquittal, easily take the presidency.

What a shame too. Maybe there aren’t laws that explicitly describe what he did, but that doesn’t make his actions any less disgraceful. I think the opportunity to hold him accountable died in the senate with the second impeachment conviction vote.

I think J6 was one of the more damaging events in modern western democracy, but I just think it is going to be hard to connect the dots between his actions and trying to overturn the election, at least from a legal perspective. But, there is probably more evidence than I have seen, so maybe I'm wrong.
It was his right to be in DC giving a speech that day, but man, what infantile leadership. But, what do you expect from a child.
Had he not been there on J6, he would probably win this election fairly easily. If the Dems ran someone among the living, they would probably win this election fairly easily. I think there is going to be a large no vote 'turnout', and I'm not really sure who that will benefit. It will be a really interesting election, with a poor outcome either way.

The two months of daily conspiracies, lies, BS, and plotting are what he should be held accountable for. January 6th rioters are already paying their debt to society, but the man responsible for everything that made it happen hasn’t.

Trump will get to throw around more "election interference" fuel on the fire. The country will continue to hate each other, and nothing will get better for the middle class.
Eventually, the conviction will be thrown out by the court of appeals, because the entire case should have already been thrown out, but it will be too late. Damage will have been done. Mission accomplished for the democrat DA who is fund raising.
Going forward, not only do we have a congress that is completely broken, the judicial system will join congress as a complete mess whose interest are only partisan in nature.

I don't want him to be president. That said, and he is a felon, so what? It will be what the people voted for. They chose. He is already known as a clown internationally. It won't make any difference in that regard.

Possibly a hung jury, but the judge pretty much just told them that they can pick whatever crime they want, and they don't have to agree on which one. lol

Although you must conclude unanimously that the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you need not be unanimous as to what those unlawful means were.
So they don't even have to pick a charge to go with? Here are three that may or may not apply.

who believe that stupid talking point…
The judge instructed them that applied to the underlying crime the defendant sought to cover-up, NOT to the charges in the indictment. That is the law and the DEFENSE DID NOT DISAGREE. If you’re too stupid to understand this, get someone to help.
That talking point is almost, but not quite, as dumb as the “we don’t even know what the charges are!” BS put forth by drooling MAGA fools.
This is the real Trump Derangement Syndrome: being willing to make yourself look as stupid as possible to support the Manhattan conman. Pathetic people.

It's not that the jury can pick and choose what crime Trump committed, it's that there are multiple ways that the facts can amount to the same crime.

Quite literally NOTHING about dicks in my post, and yet, you steer the conversation to dicks.
Listen, man. It's never too late to find your true self, and if that's what you're into and you finally decide to take the plunge, I fully support you. I have plenty of gay friends and a sister who is married to a woman. It's just weird to take literally any post, and steer it towards gay innuendo. Unless you're just really into penises, which, again, is perfectly fine.

Exactly. It's a waste of time. Nice to see him have to get stressed out though and waste his time. It's been amusing. Now just get it over, say he is innicent or whatever, and get him stressing out about something else. He needs to get out and talk more in order to have a chance to spew more nutty bs. I miss that.

The best he can hope for is a hung jury.
There is at least one or two jurors that would vote guilty no matter the evidence.
I think a conviction with an eventual overturn on appeal is the most likely though.
It would be like trying Hillary Clinton in Alabama. There would be one or two people voting guilty no matter what.
