in the same exact time frame. I get what you're saying, but James Franklin doesn't come close to even being able to carry Dabo's jock strap.

The thing that gets me the most about Franklin, and I imagine I'm not breaking new ground here, is his team is usually in the Top Ten when he is playing and losing these games. He is losing to, at least at the time the games are played, peer programs.

Sounds like he's making a living beating up on unranked opponents and every so often snagging a victory over a quality team. Keeps the powers that be think they're about to turn the corner.

ESPN is big on talking him and Penn St up though. I think they feel some obligation as a makeup for all the Paterno Sandusky coverage from years ago.

A perennially overrated team. They occasionally have a good win and lose tough to good teams. The money they spend to be just good but not that good is comical. While we don’t have much room to talk lately they always under perform. Franklin is overrated as a coach. And it couldn’t happen to a more deserving school. Ive learned much about the school the past six years and it’s not flattering.

But really he makes $10 million if you look up the terms and compare to Dabo’s contract structure. Their buyouts are almost identical. This is why arguments about Dabo’s salary are so stupid. This is going rate +/- 10% at any major P4 program.

I have 2 friends that are big PS fans and they both predicted the loss even over all the preseason hype
and they also said that our DC was one of the worse DC they have had and they recently have had several
