Who had that pegged at the beginning of the season? Dude has been a monster and a great leader his senior season.

get a lot of snaps at DE, but it's no surprise that the majority of the production is coming from the DTs. Our DEs were a known question mark coming into the season and, lets be perfectly honest here, they haven't really produced this year. Austin Bryant getting hurt certainly didn't help. He has 2.5 sacks and 3.5 TFL in 3 games since returning. Ferrell has 4 sacks and 6.5 TFL in 10 games. Yeargin has done very little.

Also, Watkins was our best DL heading into the season. It's maybe surprising that he's gotten this many sacks, but I'm not surprised at all by his overall level of play.

because even like @jtiger1 said, Carlos was pegged to as a pre-season all American, there was SO much hype given to CW's freakish qualities and DL's size and strength.

Good for him though. Dan Brooks doesn't get enough credit for the work he does in preparing and building these guys up.
