And yet, it was a strike the second time.

This was a heartbreaker, and probably the end of any real chance to advance. Even if we somehow get to play them again, I don't see us having the pitching to beat them twice in a row, maybe not even once, after we literally used up EVERYBODY tonight.

And while Tom Hart does SEC network games he is a fair announcer and Kyle Peterson is far from a SEC lover... Always been a professional IMO.

And by taking that picture, which was way too close to take, Grice put the decision in the hands of the umpire. A player that is playing loose and chomping at the bit to win the game for his team NEVER takes a close pitch in that situation.
