I have shed a few tears today myself bc today is Fathers day, and it's also my daughters B-Day, and she passed away 3 years ago from a pancreatic hemorrhage, and I wouldn't miss both arms and legs as much as I've missed her today. It has been a really tough for me today!!!

I'm so very sorry. I hope you have a bushel of good memories to focus on. That must be unbelievably hard.

Same here. I had just gotten back from putting flowers on Dad's grave.

I just visited my dads grave an hour ago too. I think of him every day since he passed three years ago but days like these are especially difficult.

I lost my dad in 2011--still think about him daily.

Just lost my dad in April at 94yrs. Not the best father son relationship over there years, did my best to honor and respect him in his later days. Still a tough loss.
Great song for Fathers dad. “ I still can’t say goodbye” by Chet Atkinson. I think Chet was in his 70s when he recorded it ( I might be wrong). You can hear the sincere loss in his voice…. Just try not tearing up as you listen!

And The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics from the 80s is good too.

Lost my dad in 2020 to a heart attack. Crazy part is Father’s Day, Thanksgiving and christmas dont get to me as much as that opening day of college football and really every college football Saturday . I have one of those nice mini helmets that I leave on his head stone.
