I just noticed that 1 of our star recruts has my exact last name

That is the 2nd time this has happened, so I assume we are all related as I have a lot of ancestry in the South dating back over 200 years, and I was very much the star athlete. Unfortunately, a freak injury ended my athletic career when I was 11 years old, or I could have been the starting quarterback at Clemson, assuming that was the school I picked. I would easily have beaten out Patrick Sapp and Helped Coach West Install a run-and-shoot style offense that compliments my cat-like reflexes and impeccable decision-making.

My paternal side I can trace to a 1780 enlistment in the Ga Militia, fought some small engagements between Savannah & Charleston. My maternal side is documented 400 years back to Scotland and they were in Mecklenburg Co by 1750’s.
