This was a foregone conclusion when he was beating them. When Saban retires, and if Dabo is tired of the expectations at Clemson, does he leave? Or is he even wanted?

His stock is not as high as it was. Bama may not want him. Saban will probably choose his successor. IMHO. Good for us.

Nobody will hire a coach in this day and age that isn't going to use the portal....it's like opening a blockbuster rental in 2023.....just a bad business decision

Well, he's already won twice as many games as last year so I'd say he is probably going to do OK.

Agree its early in the season, But with two games played they made a good hire. Two wins for a program that never wins. Fans are excited and back in boulder. Sales for tickets and merchandise are booming. even if they only win one more game, the gamble paid off. Not for or against Deion in any way, but I can see how players want to be apart of that and play for him.

I used to check out Bama websites and when the subject was raised most didn't want Dabo. The reason being that he isn't dedicated to winning so much as to his ministry. Which is the reality we're living in now.

It's a shame you can't support both at the same time isn't it? A follower of Christ is who he is; coaching is what he does. I'd say he has the right priorities but I'm sure they would rather have Kirby because he will do whatever it takes.
