We can all agree that Riley is gone at the end of the year, right? There are many offensive issues but we've yet to see any magic that he was supposed to bring from TCU.

I’m not sure the problem isn’t Dabo handcuffing him. Does anyone know it’s not really Dabo’s offense? Dabo telling him what HE wants done with the offense? I believe Dabo could be just that arrogant.

Even if Dabo is handcuffing him he will he fired because Dabo thinks he is doing the right thing and Riley is not executing it properly.

Yes, Dabo, despite basically being Forrest Gump, thinks he's a brilliant football mind. THe "clemson offense" can't be bad. Four straight OCs failing to run it. It's the assistants who are wrong.

How many times have we seen receivers open only to never get thrown the ball? The plays are there. Or Randell getting 10 yards a carry on a pitch out 3 consecutive times, then the QB keeping it with no pitches the rest of the game, and on some critical plays. You can throw for how many yards, but if you can't get the critical plays on drives then it doesn't matter. Got to get the ball to the playmakers. And just a game manager type QB could have success with what we have on offense. Cade is a good kid, but he's in his own head. And trys to make a big play on critical plays instead trusting those around him to make those same plays. I say that to say this, Riley is playing who we have. I think he should start another QB at this point to get someone reps for next year. If that's his or Dabo's decision I don't know, but both need to try something different. And Dabo needs to be the one to say it. And should also let both coordinators decide on position coaches. Dabo can still do the recruiting, NIL, Portal etc. his way but put his assistants in a better place to succeed. I think he'd actually have less pressure on himself and could probably do a much better job, than trying fix every problem himself. More like a CEO big picture type, than a manager type trying to do it all.

Spot on. He is late with throws. Misses wide open receivers crossing the middle of the field (he is scared of throwing an int).

I'm in the minority here...Riley isn't the issue.
It's the QB..and if anyone can't see that at this point then you need your prescription checked.
Play after play after play he's missing open open WRs...most for an way walk in 6 for a huge play. This dude is awful.

We spend enough on coaching, I don’t want to buy out anyone. I feel like every year they get raises and extended contracts- let that stop. Allocate any remaining funds towards a competent qb and let’s see what Riley can do with his QB.

Not sure Riley is innocent but I’ve watched some web breakdowns on Cade and the consensus is he’s missing reads constantly and they all have said he will improve but I think they were just being generous since these are all qbs themselves not wanting to blame another qb.
But at this point it’s for sure Cade is not what he was meant to be.

It’s both. Riley can’t even get any tempo going. every play it seems like we snap it with 3 seconds left, as he’s talking into his play sheet.

I think you let Riley walk bring in an OC and give him full control Dabo needs to go back to the CEO type thing cheerleader coach thats when he's at his best make the portal your friend because the roster is a mess.

Dabo needs to get like ole Bobby Bowden. Stand around on sideline and daydream. Wake up every now and again and scream at refs; then go back to thinking what’s for supper.

Yes. The biggest issue is wide receivers running wide open and the quarterback can’t see them or waits for the defender to catch back up to the receiver. So yeah fire Riley will certainly fix everything.

Klubnik misses open recievers, waits too late to deliver the throw---but also he spends a lot of time trying to elude pass rushers because of our unathletic OL.

Last year it was “if we get rid of Goodwin”, before that it was “if we get rid of Streeter”. The issues are deeper than a single coordinator. It’s hiring inexperienced position coaches. It’s giving your kids a 250k job. It’s poor player evaluation, poor player development and poor leadership. It’s not because they’re getting paid, so they just don’t care. It’s because they’re getting paid and just aren’t very good.
But the biggest problem is a lack of accountability at the top. When Dabo gets criticized he pitches a hissy fit, threatens to leave and gets an extension and buy out increase.

that worked against Troy and Tech in the 2nd half, but of course we abandoned it shortly after in the Tech game.
We beat Tech if we just run the ball every play and don’t fumble (which is an issue).

I think it’s deeper than that.
We’ve been through THREE OCs since 2021 and our offense has looked the EXACT same for each. Although each OC have different philosophies they looked the SAME……..one common denominator is DABO.
I gave streeter heck when he was here and now I’m thinking that was misguided and Dabo is the culprit to this “Clemson offense” disaster.
Someone posted yesterday that I kinda agree with. Can’t remember who. Dabo should “-use PORTAL -fire everyone but the OC and DC -let them hire their own staff”
I can’t hurt.

I'd really love to know if he has had full reign to do what he thought best, or a wingman constantly getting in the way.

so again, we all agree Cade is a train wreck, and Garrett had nothing to do with bringing him to Clemson. So is the problem that we're not seeing Garrett's offense because it was always some kind of illusion, or because Garrett is having to work with apparently a pretty low-IQ QB?
