Not caring frees up my time for other activities. Think I will learn to crochet .
So much time for activities.

The ACC new that putting FSU and Clemson into opposite divisions would create the possibility that there would be very few years that the ACC CG wouldn't involve those two schools. It was a brand saving move , to allow these underlings to do battle with the winner between ourselves and that holding cell in Tallahassee.

Guys, that's just ridiculous. When the divisions were set,

Clemson was playing .500 ball in the ACC, and FSU, Miami and VT were all dominating. Putting us in with FSU is no different than putting Miami in with VT. There is no reason that the ACC "powers that be" would KNOW that FSU and Clemson would be top talents in the conference. A division with Miami, VT, UNC and GT should have several top-notch teams every year.
Heck, shortly after the divisions were split, Wake Forest was the Atlantic Division representative.
These things cycle through. Having FSU in our division precludes us from meeting in the ACCCG, but it doesn't preclude us from having a path to the ACCCG. We had our chances and we fell a bit short.
Besides, considering the pounding we just took from GT, I'm not sure what we're angry about.

Sorry, but this is way off. The Coastal was BY FAR the dominant division for most of the early years, as Virginia Tech was easily the best team, with Georgia Tech, Clemson, Miami, and FSU just behind. With FSU's comeback and Clemson surging under Dabo, along with the decline of Beamerball, things have changed.. Even so, the 3 worst ACC teams are all in the Atlantic (Wake, NCSU, Cuse) so it's still even in a way.
If you want to complain, complain about the fact that Clemson and GT have to play each other every year, while teams like Duke get to play Wake Forest every year. That matters a LOT. As a GT fan and Clemson alumnus, it really resonates with me how it unfair it is to constantly give some teams harder in-conference schedules.
