and don't keep up with the other sports.
There's a lot to get excited about - especially with our new women's sports. Softball is doing really well and has won some big game thrillers - most recently against USuC and Tennessee. Lacrosse is peaking at the right time and had a big upset win over Duke in the ACC tourney yesterday. And baseball is a top 5 team with some incredible comeback wins and signature wins over top-ranked competition. Not to mention all of the great personalities and moments from these teams.
Clemson sports are doing extremely well this year - even some of the lesser watched or kept up with teams like tennis and track and field. It's really too bad some people limit themselves to just Clemson football - there's a lot of great things happening and great games going on elsewhere that people are missing out on, and a lot of student athletes who would really love more support!
I follow every Clemson team on Instagram - that's a great way to keep up (far better than the Clemson mobile app, unfortunately). You'll get lots of highlights and info about games and standings.

And don’t realize or remember that Clemson Univ is so much more than a school whose campus & academia is used by these various sports teams..
But also a center of higher learning and important research and where many are not into the sports teams that cover up the real reason for Clemson Univ.
Sports are a secondary entity at every institution of higher learning but the layman and/or sports fan forgets that fact.
Saying, Go CU Tiger Football!

...I have never understood the allure of watching women's sports. Even Clemson's. Super boring. No amount of ESPN, or social engineering can sway me either.

I seldom watch a game, though I do get to 2 or 3 softball games a year. Usually I just keep up on the Clemson app or social media. I don't quite get lacrosse, but I can get into a big upset over Duke any day. I'm not a big baseball fan, but I love watching the highlights on YouTube or Insta and can always appreciate any time any Clemson team upsets the Dawgs!
Not saying that you have to love all the other sports just as much as football. But there's a lot of great things happening and incredible games being won. That's all. Take it or leave it - it's your thing. Do what you wanna do

Agreed. I guess if I had daughters that played, I would feel differently. I used to do the scoreboard for our high school basketball games where I work. The girls games were brutal to do.

Softball can be solid if it were televised a lot. I generally agree with you though.

Actually it comes down to how good the athlete is. If we have the world's fast woman running in track it would be interesting.

Part of the reason most women's sports are boring is because they play on the same size fields/courts as men. This highlights the disparity between women and men. Softball is an interesting example of what other women's sports should do. Take basketball. I would lower the rim closer to 8'6". I would shorten/narrow the court by about 10-15% as well. This would look closer to the men's game.

On the other hand, the women are bigger now and are the size of the men who the courts were designed for. It's seems the courts should be a little larger for today's NBA players.
