Ditto...

Nov 22, 2013, 8:23 PM

Very much how I feel and how many Clemson fans feel I'm sure. Great guy, great parents. Not a perfect QB (no one is), but a perfect person and team player (few are).

Thanks to your whole family and lots of prayers for each of you as the rest of this journey unfolds.

Tajh Boyd actually Humbles me when he steps on any field we play on. In my very best days in playing sports. I couldn't have ever played on the same field as Tajh. Tajh will be sorely missed by Tiger Nation. I thank Tajh and the Boyd family for choosing Clemson to become a star at/for. Thank you the Boyd's. Y'all made the best choice for yourselves and the University. Good luck, but the luck begins with Tajh's hard work.

We, as Clemson-nation, owe a great deal to Tajh and his family. The thing that hit home with this letter is how much Tajh's class and leadership will be missed. What a great ambassador he has been for the program. He has been the leader and set the groundwork for a continued success after his departure. Thank you Tajh!!!

Nov 22, 2013, 9:16 PM

I remember the day in a Circuit City that I heard that TB was joining CU and watched these highlights from the Army all star game that he hit a 50 yd post route and boy were my expectations blown away, not only by his ability and hard work, but his leadership. It will be sad to see him go, but he, Spiller and Sammy have been integral in righting the ship. Which is CU all day long.

My wife and oldest son met Tajh and Jonathan Meeks

Nov 22, 2013, 10:24 PM

the summer the got here. They were sitting on a bench outside Walmart. My son instantly recognized them as Clemson football players. They were extremely gracious and were humbled that my son wanted them to sign his T-shirt.(which they did) My wife says she new that day that there was something special about Tajh. She became an instant TB fan without ever seeing him play a down, or even knowing who he was for that matter. Gonna miss him and all the seniors.

Tajh Boyd is one of the best college players to put on a uniform for any team--a true role model. Even for myself, someone whose been out of college for a while, i find it easy to look up to this man. His impact will remain for a long, long time. The university owes him a debt of gratitude. It is and will be a better place because of the work he's done.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We sure are going to miss him. 10 wins and ACC title, 11

Nov 22, 2013, 11:54 PM

wins, and likely 10 wins with two games to go. Wins over Auburn twice, Georgia, LSU, Virginia Tech 3 times, FSU. He has been a great leader, great face of the program and great quarterback. I cant wait to pull for him in the NFL!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Great article!

It's been a blessing to have Tajh as the QB for the majority of the time that I have been a student at Clemson (on the 4.5 year plan KP my freshman year and whoever succeeds Tajh next year). It's amazing to know that when I grow old, God willing, that I will be able to tell my grandchildren of the times that I got to see Tajh Boyd connect to Nuk Hopkins, Sammy Waktins, or run it himself for the TD.

Whether you want to admit it or not, and your story is well written, if he doesn't beat South Carolina during his tenure that will be the only real negative anyone could remember. Hopefully he can rid himself and Clemson of this terrible streak we are up against now against our rivals.

You've been an inspiration - and raised the bar very high to all who follow.

You and your family have all been a class act. It's difficult to see you go, but Tiger Nation will always be a part of you, and vice versa.

Good luck the rest of the way, and thanks for the memories.

It's been a heckuva ride.

My feelings exactly. I am really going to be sad to see Tajh leave Clemson but fully understand that he has to venture on to achieving his dreams and goals. I have enjoyed watching him play and have bragged on him and the rest of the Clemson Tigers to all of my friends, most of which I am sorry to say are gamecock fans.
To Tajh's family I would like to say Thank You with all of my heart for allowing us to enjoy time and space with this wonderful man that you have raised. He is truly a leader in every sense of the word and I know that where ever this life may take him I know that he is destined for greatness. WE LOVE YOU TAJH AND WE ARE TRULY GOING TO MISS YOU.
