that games against the Savannah St's, FIU's, etc should not count towards OSU's, FSU, Louisville's etc winning record.

For all you idiot posters on here this weekend that kept saying that's how you win with style, please remember that the AP and Coach's that vote watched the same garbage over the weekened that we all saw. no way you can compare our road win against a team that will win 7-8 games to Lousivlle and OSU scoring 70+ points.

Playing FCS teams should not carry much weight unless you

lose to one of them. Of course we play two FCS teams this year, SC State and Citadel so I guess that would put us back even further if they didn't count towards our record. It's way too early to be concerned about rankings and polls, it will all work itself out by the end of the season.

When we play these two, I bet we don't score 70 points. We will play our 2nd and 3rd string and get them valuable playing experience.

we just need to hover around the top 5 all season and of course go undefeated. it will all take care of itself, regardless of how many points we win by.

the second is cause Swoff pulled the rug out from under us on 9 conf games after ramming the proposal down schools throats earliuer on. I hate those games but Swoff caused this cupcake for all the ACC schools

They actually don't carry as much weight - only one win

against and FCS team counts toward the 6 wins needed to become bowl eligible.

If the playoff system is anything like it was presented...

Sep 23, 2013, 9:30 AM

these blowout wins will not help. Matter of fact, SOS becomes paramount in determining who is selected if two teams have the same win/loss record. That means lining these creampuffs us will bite you right where you sit when it comes time to pick the playoff seeds.

Atleast FIU won a bowl game in the past few years.

Guys we are playing SC state and citadel this year. Thats 2 FCS schools. Only reason we are complaining is b/c we didnt beat sc state 77-0.

Yeah NC state struggling with Richmond made us look a little bad Thursday but if NC State does on and wins some good game and goes 8-4 or 9-3 then it will play out better at the end of the year.
