I don’t think he ever stays anywhere long enough to ever be considered planted!

Yep, and all that moving around from one place to another will shock your growth just as it has done with The Chad, just as it will do with anything that is planted!!!

If Chad hadn't been looking for every chance that come up somewhere to leave Clemson, and he would've stayed under Dabo for a few more years and allow Dabo to teach him how everything has to work to be successful at the college level, he would have stood a much better chance of making it at the college level.
Chad was just to bull headed to believe that anybody could teach him anything about FB bc he had been a successful High School HC and he didn't need anyone to teach him anything bc he already knew it all he thought in his own head.
Chad will never be successful as a HC at the college level until he understands that it is almost totally different from one level to the next, just as the pro level is almost totally different than it is at the college level. And by Chad refusing to believe that it was so different from one level to the other is exactly why Chad has fell on his face ever since he left Dabo and Clemson. That is my personal opinion of why The Chad hasn't been successful as a HC since he was in such a hurry to leave Clemson, the place where he had a successful HC that would have been more than happy to have showed him the ropes in a totally different system than he came from.
But let me say this, I've heard almost my entire life that when you make your bed, make it as comfortable as possible bc you're the one that will have to sleep in it, and it was said in a way that the same rule went with everything you do in your life, you can make it easy, or you can make it hard, and I believe that The Chad's hard head has made it hard for himself...

If you remember, Chad was kinda sorta on the hot seat when he left Clemson and coming off a horrible year for his Offensive coaching resume. He had dumbed down the offense to practically nothing in an attempt to "protect" our QB and by doing so handicapped the entire team. After he left and Scott/Elliott came in the for OKlahoma bowl game, they opened it up and went lights out on the Sooners and Stoudt had a great game. Never a fan of the Bubble Gum guy after that and evidently the folks at SMU, Arkansas and Allen HS weren't either.

He was successful at SMU. They liked him, but he left for Arkansas.

I never heard anything more about him after he was hired as a Clemson analyst.

I know some t-netters wigged out when he was hired but an analyst labors in the background so there was really nothing to hear about.
