I'm not saying those appeal to anyone on the Tigers' staff, but I'm not going to pretend that some folks wouldn't find it attractive. My real concern is the rumor that Muschamp and Venebales are being talked about as the leading candidates for Texas A&M DC as the Aggies current DC is said to be on the way out. I hope it's Muschamp as replacing two co-ordinatior sat this point in the year would be a major blow.

I feel Jeff is a family man, close to his Dad and Mother, he's a Clemson man and if we offer him the OC job, he will stay. Of course, no of this matters because only they know what is best for them and their families. Whatever happens will happen, we'll just have to react.

I think we are safe on offense. If Scott gets promoted to OC, then Tony would be shoe in as recruiting coordinator.
I do think it's possible he takes Hobby or Reid as DC tho.

I think Hobby could get a bigger DC job if he wanted it. He is Co-DC at Clemson and we could prob pay him whatever he'd make at SMU to do his job now.

Always possible but I think it's less likely than if he had taken a job closer to South Carolina.

He will for sure be taking Tyler Carlton with him. Carlton came here with him from Tulsa as a GA and is an offensive analyst now. I don't think Jeff Scott would be going with him because we all know Morris will be calling plays.

I would try my damndest to get him if I were Morris..
But I can't see them leaving...its degressing for their careers...unless they wanted the pride in rebuilding something...Its going to take money and cheating again to get SMU back to contention
