We just watched Cade hawk down a safety with a head start, enough with the speed talk. We didn’t miss on all these wide receivers, no way I’m gonna believe that! We are just being out schemed and ultimately out coached

Agree theres several guys that came in running in the 4.4s. Its the predictability of the screens and forcing the sideline throws, this has been an issue for years. Teams are taking away the deep sidelines and Dabo hasnt trusted any QBs to throw over the middle deep, that includes TLaw as ludicrous as that sounds. Dabo got use to the Mike Williams, Tee Higgins, and Justyn Ross type guys just bodying guy's out down the sideline. Theres a reason TLaw struggled throwing in the middle of the field in his rookie year, he was out of touch and rusty throwing into a heavy traffic area. Really it boils down to Dabo believing they can win playing it safe.

this is very true I remember analyst saying Lawrence biggest unknown was throwing over the middle. I don't think they had doubts about the talent just that he had little on film
