Agree with you. This is the kind of thing that makes college football hard to watch. Why call that targeting? Back in my day (yeah I am old), our coach would have recognized us for a super play and effort.

There should never be a call for targeting when the hit was below the waist. Just put on the velcro belts and flags now. Stupid call!!!
