Friday night, Went to see Southern Culture on the Skids at the Radio Room, ran into some unexpected friends. Fun was had by all.
Saturday, a lot or running around to get ready for a Krampus party and to brew beer on Sunday. Made it to party, drank too much, watched Clemson win in unexpected fashion.
Sunday, got to work brewing the beer. Enjoyed many SEC tears on the social media.

Friday - long day of work, didn't get home until 9pm. Chipotle double steak bowl was the choice for dinner.
Saturday - everyone slept in late and then played in the snow. Board games, long run, pizza dinner. Clemson won and I got on Tigernet after hanging with Jameson for too long.
Sunday - church to say sorry for above. Son scored two touchdowns in indoor flag football. Watched Bills game and threw ball outside. 50 degrees felt like 90, it was amazing. Chicken tacos for dinner. Went to local pub and watched Chiefs do Chiefs stuff.
8/10 - minus 2 because it wasn't a 10 weekend, but it wasn't a bad one either.

But not in the fishing tournament...did bad...reel bad. The water was ice cold, but the weather was pretty comfy after about 8:00. Got home about 4:30. McJr and I watched them Tigers pull out a W at the buzzer.
Sunday - Church in the morning. Cleaned up in the garage. Pretty epic game of Mario Party with our family of 4 last night. I watched the ball doink through the uprights around 1130 and went to bed.

Friday, got a jizzillion little things done around the house and yard that had been piling up into a nice list. Got everything knocked out and made a pizza for supper.
Saturday, I honestly cannot remember much of anything before THE KICK. I'm sure I went places and did stuff, but it's all a blur. I stayed up WAY too late watching the ACC Huddle show after the game, and decided to crash when the highlight reels and soundbites started to sound recently familiar.
Sunday, dragging pretty badly so lots of coffee to get moving. Grocery run, the took the wife to Christmasville downtown RH because she wanted to go to the craft and vendor market. Wandered Main Street to look at the festival stuff, then home to make black spaghetti alfredo with portabello mushrooms and onions. Tasted good, but it was better in my mind than how it turned out in the presentation. Mrs. thanked me for making 'Gray Glop' but she did scarf down a big bowl of it.
No live music but very productive overall, ACC Champs and CFP bound...we'll go straight up 19/19.

Good weekend all around.
Friday - a rare beer out with a friend after work.
Saturday - tai chi, work work, outdoors work, ordered Chinese food, watched the Tigers. Stayed up till nearly 0100.
Sunday - church, 5-mile run, cooked my grandmother’s veggie soup, early to bed.

Friday-A lot of cyber Christmas shopping on the Amazon, while wife of went to Lexington / Cootlumbia to spend our money in person. Watched Boise State on that blue rug, man that thing is looking dated, time for a re-blue.
Saturday-A WHOLE lot of football watching, ending well after midnight with the adrenaline rush of a 56 yard walkoff field goal and another ACC Champeenship for the Tigers. The most ironic way for this particular team to win a game that you could ever imagine.
Sunday-Our church service is at 9:00 am, so I and wife of were really struggling, but we made it, had to give thanks for the Charlotte Miracle. Also, to pray for No. 1 son, he has a surgery date of January 15 for this gastroparesis, but he is suffering daily with vomitus and pain from all that mess. Had another trip to the ER this week, doctors bills from this may break us before the surgery even gets here, and naturally, all his deductibles will be reset, already got an estimate of around 5G out of pocket. I need a lottery win.

Friday: nothing of note, really
Saturday: up early, my team had a volunteer event where a sponsor gives underprivileged kids a $100 gift card to purchase gifts for themselves, we walked around with the kids, shopping, helping them sizes for clothes and keep track of the dollar amount. Was a really great event. Right afterward, I took Obed®'s advice and picked up a steak biscuit from Hardees, was the le #### now.
Came home, took yard trash to dump and spent the afternoon with the dogs. Order Japanese take out, and was good, way too much sodium. Watched the Tigers and man, alive, we Dabo-ed the heck out of the game. Proud of the Tigers and how long will the legend of Hauser's Wink live on ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIWybCWtKbg
Sunday: slept my fat butt in a bit, watched church and a bit of the Chelsea win. CHilled with my son and the dogs, cleaned up a bit and cooked some eggs and grits for supper. Had our bi-weekly leadership call with my team last night and had a guest speaker from Aiken BigDaddy® and flow0440® that you might know.
25/24 - because it's still 2024

Billy Strings delivered in Memphis, bunch a new songs from the first night on Friday, another great show on Saturday, checked my phone after the show to see if the Tigers won Another Clemson Championship and course they did, it never gets old
Memphis was nice but cold, add the airport to one of my favorites, brand looking new and not crowded!
Food was good, cool to go back to Rendezvous, unique ribs, walked everywhere and saw a few bands on Beale
wood do again!

Friday: Christmas party. Lots of good food and drink. Ran into too many people that still want to talk politics and culture wars. Lighten up...it's a party.
Saturday: Tried to tidy up and various chores so that we may finally get some Christmas decor up. Mission unaccomplished. Work in progress. Went to wife's office party DUD. Spent most of the time trying to act cordial and looking at my watch as we approached kickoff. Got home at the start of the 2nd.
Sunday: Church - food - nap. Grilled some baby back ribs and nearly set my deck (house, neighborhood) on fire when some grease snuck out the back and onto the pine straw that I didn't get around to sweeping off on Saturday. All is well. Didn't get a lot of sleep though. Thank you lord for the rain.
Fun times

Friday - daughter had BB game at Dorman HS. Never been there before and it's quite a place...like a small college campus and they have a total of 4 gyms. Daughter-of's team lost in OT, but played a very good game. Watched a bit of the varsity boys game in the "Arena"...didn't get home until after 10pm, so crashed after that.
Saturday - headed to g'ville for company Christmas party. Met some of our remote folks for lunch at Roost, since we were all staying at the Hyatt Regency. Party started at 6 at the Greenville City Club. We brought in a projector and had the end of the SEC game on and then our game on. Good party - ate too much and drank too much. Heading back to the hotel to figure out after-party plans and the elevator we're on gets stuck right as its arriving on the 1st floor. So I got to spend 30 min in a packed elevator with employees/spouses...a number of which had been "over-served"...which start to suck after a few minutes. Fire dept shows up and gets us out of there. We get out just in time to make it the hotel lobby and see the last 30 sec of our game. We get reprimanded for celebrating too loudly and then make our way over to Kilpatricks (?) across the street. Drink more...had some nice drunk office drama...then hit the bed around 2am.
Sunday - meet folks at the breakfast buffet for de-briefing from the previous night's activities. Make it home by noon and pretty much did nothing for the rest of the day other than rewatch our BB game vs Miami and FB game.
Still feeling it a bit this morning, but overall very fun weekend.

Friday - made burritos that TheRealDonJuan would have been proud of, but he might be dedded. Big win was putting the original Grinch and Frosty the Snowman in my DVR and watching with my 10yo. This is likely the last year of such Christmas innocence and love for her parents
Saturday - got the Christmas tree to make the other MSynan happy and let her go to town.
Went to Ale House for game. Service was a disaster. After the miracle kick we decided to do yet another round of Patron (RIP Bruce). We were first brought vodka, then lime juice. Emeffing lime juice shots! Once they finally got it right, we went to the next bar and shut it down, the way Champions should. There may, or may not be 3a Lunge posts to prove such debauchery. Winning the ACC never gets old, and I cherish it greatly each and every time
Sunday - football and naps. Beating my old roommate in fantasy football which makes life so much better

Sat - cleaned up dog pi>ss
Sun - cleaned up dog pi>ss
Oh yeah, also:
Fri - gingerbread day at little one's school. Showed up with all of the other moms and ate ALL the candy
Sat - built Dottie's (dottie is the dog) rubber room. Essentially walled off the enclosed patio with OSB to create a roughly 50-60 sq ft place where we can put the dog when we need to get something done around the house. It is concrete slab floor so pretty impervious to anything a dog can do to it. Not quite done, at the 90%+ mark. Will post pigs when complete. Watched the improbable and super incredible awesome Clemson win.
Sun - Christmas parade downtown. Took the pupper, she was quite popular. And oh yeah, cleaned up dog pi>ss, cleaned up dog pi>ss, cleaned up dog pi>ss.

Sat.: Wifeof worked. Took kids on a hike. Grocery shopped. We had people over for dinner and made jambalaya, banana pudding, and chocolate pie. It was good. Stayed up late and watched our game.
Sun.: church, put up a Christmas tree on the porch, had Christmas with cousins last night. I'm exhausted.

Friday: don't remember, probably just laid around and watched TV with a few beverages.
Saturday: never doubted. But man, we gotta stop turning into Iowa and going into a shell on offense once we have a little bit of a lead. It's SOOOO stupid and frustrating. You can do that when you have a lockdown defense. We don't have that luxury anymore. Wes owns some of that, but certainly not all of it.
Sunday Funday: did BBQ and oysters for a CBWS event at Cooper River Brewing. Of the 2 or 3 times we've done oysters so far this year, this is the best early season I can remember. The lack of rain (I believe) has kept the salinity high, and all of the locals we've picked up from different beds have been salt bombs. So friggin' good. I actually had an oyster yesterday that made me do that shiver/cough thing that happens when you get a sudden overload of salt--don't think that's ever happened with an oyster.
Wrangled a drunk friend home, unloaded a bunch of crap at Dad's, and came home to try out some sourdough pizza crust I made on Friday. Super easy recipe, and it worked pleasingly well, even without the recommended baking steel (I just threw it on an aluminum quarter sheet). Recipe says 5-6 minutes at 550, but I think it needs more like 7-8 in my oven, or maybe that's the difference with a baking steel. Anyway, next one will have the charred crispy bubbles on the edges.
9.2/10, wood dew again.

Friday went for dinner date with Wife-of to Rabbit Hole in west end Greenville. Cool little speakeasy hidden in the back with Alice in Wonderland rabbit theming. Had a couple nice drinks and a few small plates. Walked across the street after to the Christmas market they had set up. It's all crap, nice crap, but crap. Cold as balls so we headed home after a few minutes.
Saturday did a few things around the house and then started ingesting 12 hours of football plus a Tigers hoops game. The Kick was a great way to end it.
Sunday slept in a little more than normal and then got up and started chorin'. Went to Lowes to pick up cedar lumber and a hand planer for a table project I am working on. Came home, and started planing. Nice dinner and a little evening FB on the telly, went to bed too late.
ACC champs, 69 out of 24 stars. Suck it coots.
