I'll start out directly by saying, this problem I am about to detail is miniscule compared to life threatening things, or actual losses of loved ones that have been posted on the boreds. But, I am a firm believer in the Power of Prayer, so I am asking for your help anyway in this relatively small situation.

I am scheduled to go in this Friday and have my left hand totally dismantled, or at least that's what it sounds like. Four surgeries in one. Removal of a returning small cyst in the top of the hand. Removal of an arthritic bone near that same site on top of the hand. Carpal tunnel surgery on the bottom of the hand. And most majorly, complete reconstruction of the joint at the base of the thumb, using a tendon graft from my arm.

That is a lot of stuff to be going on in one hand, so you can best believe I wouldn't be doing it if this thing wasn't literally throbbing like a toothache and not much use for gripping anything on a daily basis. Any prayers or pawsitive thoughts for a good outcome would be appreciated. Go Tigers!

ps: Now you know why I make jokes about how bad my golf game has gotten. :(
