act as though Dabo and Morris have a handful of better-qualified quarterbacks on the bench to choose from. You can say what you will about why there aren't more/better QBs - that another discussion. But in this case right now things are pretty bare until if/when Watson can return. Some people think that the 3rd string QB is a better option but what has he shown? He doesn't have any experience.

Dabo doesn't have much of a choice but to encourage and stand behind Stoudt and praise him in public. What other choice does he have?

Those that are upset at Dabo's words trying to build Cole's confidence probably aren't parents or involved with working with young people. No two kids are alike, some have inbred confidence and need no pumping up. Others need it and we as adults should always take the time to give them that support. The problem with people that are so quick to criticize kids is they don't view them as human beings. To them they are simply a commodity here for their pleasure and have no feelings at all....sad.

With Dabo making stupid decisions Nick will never get experience. Let's say Cole plays well against Georgia St. So what? It is Georgia St. But Dabo will use it as a measuring stick for Cole to play against SC.

Say we get to SC and Watson can't play and Cole starts. Nick still has no experience. Dabo is not a coach. He is a recruiter and the CEO of this team. Venables can coach circles around Dabo, and if he plays Cole against SC and we lose for #6 in a row he needs to go. Sorry. I'm an emotional person and I'm a realist. Cole could not QB for Hillcrest High School right now.

He is talking in the press conference today (Dabo) about Cole being the MVP of the Wake game. Really Dabo? I'm not drinking the kook aid. A lot of you are. This is sad.

No way Danny Ford would play Cole the way he gave that game away Saturday. He cannot fix him mentally this year.

Ok - what choice does Dabo have - see below.

VS GT

Cole - 3/11
Nick - 4/4

Cole - 1.7 yd. completion avg
Nick - 4.8 yd. completion avg.

Cole - worst mistake - 2 pick sixes + cost us sure FG - that is -17 pts or without cole mistakes - its 11-6 game.

Nick - worst mistake - missed protection coverage. (when he was getting blitzed every play as GT knew he had to pass)

Based on this info along - I think any reasonable person would at least be interested to see what Nick could do in an extended game situation.

Heard the same thing before the GA game so your point is null. Tired of hearing this cr@p. We dont know how good NS is because Dabo is so hell bent on starting stoudt. I saw enough of NS last week that i want to see more and I'm sure I'm not the only one that is thinking this. I have seen enough of Stoudt this year to know that it can't get any worse and that our whole team has given up on him.

These are the same people who screamed "take him out" last year when Boyd made a mistake and cheered so loudly for Cole to be the starter. Can you imagine if our football program were left up to these so-called fans?
