Tailgating at GA Dome

I went to the Bama game in '08 but my friends and I just took the Marta in and walked around prior to the game. This year we have a parking pass in the red deck which is the underground parking garage between the Dome and CNN Center. If I remember correctly, there is a nice landscaped field outside this garage. Do people tailgate in this area before games? For those going, what are your plans for tailgating?

I don't think you can set up a tailgate there

but there are usually kids playing in that area etc. They do an organized thing there for Falcons game.

Make sure you have plenty of tailgate materials after the game. That deck is hell getting out of.

tailgating rules, there's no "tailgating" allowed in the Red deck. By tailgating, they mean tents and chairs---just be prepared, if you're like me, you don't like surprises.
