I pray that Gods comforting angels would surround and uplift this family with comfort that only God could give and they would have peace, strength and even joy in celebrating the life of a beloved dad, husband, brother and mentor. I thank you Father for blessing us with Mr. Swinneys son that has taken so many traits from His Father and blessed the whole Clemson family by being an honorable mentor and encouraging all things Clemson to stand on truth, love, mercy and grace. Again, thank you Lord for blessing us with the Swinneys. In Jesus name amen.

Coach Swinney, I can only imagine how proud your father was of you & the wonderful Christian Leader, Man & Coach that you have become DESPITE all the difficulties and adversity you had to go through growing up!! I just recently lost my Mom. I know this will not be an easy time. Lean on your family and friends during this time. I pray that our Father in heaven grant all of you strength and understanding. I also pray for Mr. Ervil as well that he is resting in the loving arms of God's son, Christ Jesus. Finally, ask for comfort at this time for everyone. It is the one thing that is hardest to obtain after losing a love one. I ask all these thing for you Coach. Amen

Chin up Dabo. I lost my mother in March and it was tough. You have your Family and your extended Clemson Family praying for you and are here to support you! We never understand the plan of GOD but my mom was in bad shape and I know she is in a better place with no pain. I hope you get through this and know that you are not alone in your time of need!
