I say burn it if he is actually close to being second best, given the limited time he has had to learn the system. The physical tools must be phenomenal to bridge such a gap.

Play the best we have (unless injured/recovering), and wins will lead to better recruiting in the future as well, so the cycle continues.

might be gone next year. Boyd looks REALLY focused and if that does happen, we'll be too good everywhere else to have our pants down with a totally new QB
