One.... Never schedule the day after Easter.
Two.... Demand a prescription for colon blow.
I've been blessed with two colonoscopies now. First one drank something called moviprep. 30 minutes I'm off to the toilet. Over maybe 2-3 hours the colon blow did it's thing. Done.
This time it's all over the counter stuff. Two Dulcolax tabs. Then 30 mins later a bottle of Magnesium citrate. Then four hours later repeat.
So take laxatives. Nothing. Drink the godawful crap magnesium. Nothing. 2 hours later.... First pop. Then another. Then another. By the time round 2 starts round 1 is working. Then round 2. Then 2 hours later and up until midnight 15 more trips.
Go to sleep thinking it's all over. Nope. Twice through the night then 2 more trips so far this AM. Destroyed 2+ rolls of TP and change. Probably 20+ poops. Never again.

64 0z bottle of Gatorade and drink within 2 hours. I chug the whole thing within 15 min and it's off to the races and finished up in a couple of hours. Best trick I did was get containers of Miyabi Soup from the Japanese steak house...strain all of the solids out and drink/eat that during prep. MUCH better than simple chick broth. Also get the lime jello.
