First of all Stanford still has a game left and that is against ucla! So this is not a cake walk.

Second the sugar bowl does not have to take Stanford they can choose anyone inside the top 14.

So if Clemson is inside top ten why would a bowl in Nola pick a team like Stanford over Clemson?
