Not hyper-critical, but definitely critical ...

Watson's a football player.
Whether it's the wisest thing to do or not, guys like Watson play hurt all the time. Always have, always will. Players like Deshaun Watson will not sit out a game of that magnitude if they can function at all.
Everyone knew Watson was going to start as soon as it was announced that his injury was not "season ending' ... is there a risk?
Sure.
There's a big risk of injury every time you step in the field ... even in practice.
Watson, his parents, the doctors and the coaches weighed the risks and decided to play.
And most Clemson fans are awfully glad they did.

One of my Gamecock buddies, who has a bad knee, was all...

...indignant about Watson playing the other day.
"No football player plays with a torn ACL. That's just poor judgment on Dabo's part. If I was a parent with a son considering Clemson, we'd be reconsidering right now."
I just laughed and said, "You're just mad that we whipped your team and our gimpy freshman outplayed your senior QB essentially with one leg tied behind his back."

I am about tired of MFers painting Dabo and staff as this greedy, do anything to beat Carolina, evil dominion...
Sh*t is getting really really ridiculous!

and in so much pain he was about to cry on the sidelines. He went to the locker room, got a shot, and was back in the game. Spurrier did not hesitate to play him.

This made the whole article right here
last line But if Tiger fans wonder who will handle all the quarterback chores in spring practice, Gamecock fans have to be wondering too: What can Deshaun Watson do with a healthy knee?

The Post and Courier is a big time coot paper. They seldom write lengthy articles about Clemson unless it is in a negative light. Sapakoff is an SEC homer. Kornbutt has a weekly article in the fish wrap. Kornbutt also has a weekly article (full Page) in The Item in Sumter. Another big time coot paper. The Item and Post and Courier's sports sections are hardly worth the time to read it.

ago he used to be pretty fair to Clemson and then drank the Coot-Aid. Not sure if it was his bosses or a Coot woman that made him go all out Coot.

Just kept getting popups to subscribe so I gave up trying to read the garbage. From the comments here I'm assuming this is just another bash Dabo and doctors for letting a medically cleared player "PLAY".#### chickenz will cry about anything.
