Pretty smart on his behalf. He still has enough sway in the program to force Tanner to make SOS jr. the interim giving his son the chance he's always wanted right before what is suppose to be an easy win for them and possibly an easy stretch with Tenn and FL. He pretty much set his son up to be the next head coach by forcing Tanner's hand. Genius. Watch in the next few days for Jr. to be named interim. Then go over to FGF and watch the fireworks. Got my popcorn in the microwave as we speak.

It's a lose lose situation. I'm not saying any of this is true, but it could be spurrier told him that if he wants him out he will retire immediately if he puts jr as interim. No clue but it would a great way to force tanner's hand.
