He is young, 33. but he did coach Case Keenum at U of H under Sumlin and then that other kid at A&M.
He was also quite the gunslinger in his own right at TT.

TT had no choice. This move was mainly an attempt to reunite the fan base which has been split since Leach was fired. Bring home a TT hero will definitely aid that cause !!
