Not a smart move in my opinion. Spiller has injury problems yearly and Watkins is going to be a dynamic player getting the ball from many positions. My question is why do you risk injuring either one of your star players on special teams? Doesn't make much sense to me.

At the college level Spiller was lightyears beyond Sammy

Teams would rather kick it short or OB than kick it to Spiller.

How is this even a serious situation? It's not even close.

Watkins only ever had one good return in his career. Spiller had at least 25.

under the old rules that C.J. was able to return kicks with. Those new rules took all the fun out of the return game we had been so dangerous with.

Use both. CJ's success on returns was directly proportional to having a lead blocker out in front (Jacoby Ford, one of the dudes fast enough to stay in front).

No way that you don't put both back there...

that means teams give them the 35 on every kickoff or take the risk of it going back at any time from either side of the field. this way, they can't kick to one side to bottleneck the return...

in for KR for a long while now, considering he still holds ncaa records(this right?) So, you're welcome and glad to help Bills franchise. Oh, and 1 more tip: While at Clemson, Spiiler had well over 1,000 assist yards if that stat existed. Put him in every offensive snap not 50%.

A dynamic returner?

CJ was one of the best collegiate returnmen in history. Forget dynamic. And Sammy could have been with the old rules. I understand if you want to avoid injury but the both of them would be the best bet.

Can they not just watch game tape or read stats?

CJ Spiller is so much better kick returner than Sammy Watkins, it's not even worth the comparison.
