favorite clemson player of the past ten years

who is your favorite Clemson player from the past ten years? This may be a bit weird, but my favorite player was Chandler Catanzaro. Just because of the story; small 1A school, walk-on, one of the top kickers in america, NFL longshot, earns starting job, rookie record for consecutive FG's, and on to become one of the top kickers in the NFL.

I'd like to say its either CJ or Grady J---both had incredible careers at Clemson, but Sammy Watkins moves to the head of the list. In his first game as a Tiger, I told my oldest friend he was the best WR we'd ever had.....the talent was that obvious

In another 2-3 years, Vic, Stephone Anthony, and G Jarrett would crack this list

I loved watching him set up returns and then taking it to the house. Oh and the wheel route no one could overthrow this guy in college. He's a great ambassador too...dude never forgot where he came from. A True Clemson Tiger Through and Through. Did I mention he was a top ten draft pick, broke reggie bush's all purpose yards record and correct me if im wrong still hold the record for most kick returns for a TD in one season (7) SEVEN!!! Im still P/O that he didnt get invited to the heisman dinner.

Tony Steward. Never gave up and played lights out this year when he was finally healthy. Despite being a 5 star reruit he was special team mvp last year while still recovering from acl surgery his freshman year.

I never even think about that when I think of Sammy. If he was beating on a woman or something violent, I would tend to agree with you but pot? No different than drinking underage charge or something....

I still maintain today with confidence that he was the fastest college football player I have ever seen...His elusiveness was off the d@mn grid...

Kurt Fleming - finally a RB that runs over people...oh wait.
Nah - a little longer than 10 years - but Woody Dantzler. I loved the way he played. 1000+ rushing and 2000+ passing is pretty darn good IMO.
Nowadays, I'm liking the way Boulware plays. Always around the ball, makes few mistakes, and hits like a Mack truck. My kind of player.
That said - I'm not seeing very many guys that I don't admire, respect, and appreciate. We have so darn many it's impossible to pick just 1 or a few. I could name 50 that are super and would barely get started.

look so easy. And it looked as If he had magnets in his hands the way he would bring in the ball so fluently. He still does that but it looked better in a Tiger uniform. CJ and Grady are very close second place in this last 10 yr thing.

Cj probably changed the program more and had probably the greatest single season we'll ever see at clemson his senior season, but Grady never took a play off his entire career.

1. Spiller for obvious reasons. 2. Nuk - quiet, hardworking, hell of a WR right when we needed one. 3. Ford - I'm positive that Spiller would have had a few less TDs without Jacoby being the only one that could keep up and throw some extra blocks. Freaking speed demon. 4. Sammy - 'cause he's Sammy 5. Tajh 6. DW4 7. AE 8. DMac 9. Jarrett 10. Shuey - just because of his crazy game against Ga Tech when he earned his starting spot.

Tie between Grady Jarrett and Dwayne Allen. The reason. Both were not highly rated out of high school. They worked their tails off and became great. Both represent Clemson with class. So many though. CJ, Nuk , Sammy, Stephone, Vic, Gains, Tajh ... Hard to choose just one.
