Speaking of chance encounters with Tiger greats

While entering the grocery store this morning with a friend of mine someone hollered GO TIGERS! My friend had on her Clemson hoodie but oddly enough I did not have any orange or purple on. She didn't answer him so I gave a GO TIGERS in return. We stopped to chat for a minute. It turns out it was Joe Ballard! The drum major of the 1981 National Chamionship Tiger Band. I wasn't expecting that kind of encounter on an early Saturday morning in Swannanoa, NC.
