Been busy on my net time keeping up with the Seminole Soap Opera.

I'll be around a little more now, and I'll be glad to take all the slings and arrows coming my way about the NCAA probation. (I've read quite a bit on it, including the official statement on the NCAA website.) Everybody will have their own opinions and perspectives. My bottom line consists of 2 points.

1. I'm not into tin foil hats. I don't think this was a direct attack on FSU because FSU is suing the ACC and attacked the CFP committee.
2. Nothing the NCAA does surprises me when it comes to penalties. They are consistently inconsistent.

While some schools get the proverbial slap on the wrist (UNC, Michigan) for what appears to be major violations, other schools get the hammer (FSU, GT) for equal or lesser violations.

FSU fans shouldn't stress, if you're going to buy players that's the natural way to do it. Frankly, you guys are driving in the middle of a huge convoy of schools all running the same speed. Super Trooper just happened to hate the color of your truck.

I'd love to see the NCAA slam the door on this abuse of the NIL and transfer portal but we know that you can't unring a bell.
