game since I understand it's extreme importance in the overall scheme of things for our beloved Clemson.
Of course, I felt the same way when attending the 1982 NC game when I wanted the world to see & experience the greatness of our Tiger Team..and thankfully they did..in spades!
GoTiGERs..stand up & FIGHT Clemson Men, and beat LsU & SeC!

are a lot of Clemson people just as emotional. Heck, the mere act of reading TNet can charge emotions. However, we ALL want this win...and EVERY game IS important; it's just that a victory against LSU will heal a lot of wounds from the loss to S.C. while setting the stage for next season.

I'm 62 ,and while this game is important in ending the season on a positive note,I see the opener next fall against UGA as just as important in the grand scheme of things.
A bowl is a reward for a good season,but in Dabo's plans,one of his goals( and therfore the teams ) is to win the opener.UGA represents,imo,more of a challange than LSU.

I had just started a new job in 1981 and one of my coworkers had married a girl that graduated from Clemson the year before me. Her parents had also graduated from Clemson so he jumped on board as a so-called bandwagon fan. He was all in the faces of all the coots we worked with but he was a likable guy. Then he said the unforgivable to me....he said, "I am a Clemson fan but we are starting a black (being nice on this one) QB and I hope we lose every game. The short of it all...he was the most excited fan when we won the National Championship I know but he tainted his hand by what he said before the season started. We all have those type fans but....don't be that guy.
