The last chance to celebrate one of the greatest spectacles the Almighty has blessed us with.
The last Clemson game of the season.
You can spend the day moping and moaning, fretting that Oklahoma is gonna wear us down. Yo can continue to linger in that bog of gloom that so many have called home for the past month, certain that the sons of Clemson are going to fall. And, honestly, what has that attitude and expectation gotten you in the past month?
Personally, I've been looking forward to this since we stood on the field and sang the alma mater after 35-17. It's the last time this year for a bunch of young men ... and the last time ever on the field for some.
It's also the last time some of us will watch Clemson football this side of Glory. I want you to ponder that for a minute. This will be the last Clemson game ... not just for this year, but forever, for some. I guarantee if you've been around a while, when I said that, your mind went to a particular person ... someone who would give anything to be back, screaming their heads off one more time for Clemson.
Might be me. Might be you. There's no telling, but I'll tell you this: Like every game the Sons of Clemson play, I will be standing with them. And if it is indeed the last time, then I can step proudly before the Gates of Glory, knowing I did not lose faith in Clemson.
I hope you can say the same. I stand with my Tigers, and I expect a victory.
