Some players I'd like to see MOAR of against FAU/FSU

Let's start with the defense:

TJ Parker at DE. This guy should be a starter if he continues to set the edge and rush passers. This is a no-brainer.

Demonte Capehart at DT: When this guy is healthy, he is so disruptive. Hope he can stay healthy he needs moar snaps vs. FAU to get into game shape.

Sherrod Covill at S: Much, much quicker to the ball than Mickens. Oh, and he punishes ball carriers too. So there's that. I mean he absolutely brings it when he tackles a ball carrier.

Woodaz at LB. He needs to be on the field at all times.
Dee Crayton at LB: Takes much better angles than Carter and shows serious speed to the ball.

Lukus: Plays way more physical than Wiggins/Jones.

Woods: Moar. So far Ruke and Tyler have not overly impressed against inferior competition.

Offense:

Sapp and Pope at TE definitely need to see moar snaps. Briningstool has been MIA thus far against inferior competition....not sure what's going on here. Is it playcalling? Scheme? Are we not showing anything ahead of FSU? Guy has all the talent in the world so not sure what the deal is.

Jay Haynes at RB: Where have you been hiding?? Get this guy the ball out of the backfield.

Tyler Brown: Moar. If we can get this guy free in space, look out.

Stellato: Nice to see a boundary WR actually fighting for balls, and actualy run good routes. No loafing or taking plays off, either like the starting boundary WR.

In summary, all of these guys deserve moar snaps than they are being given. I know Dabo likes seniority and all that, but right now, all of these guys are flashing and in many cases, are outperforming the starters. Let's pump the brakes and see how they play vs. FSU......but if they perform well, there is absolutely no excuse why they shouldn't start.

Agree, if Best is Standard then the starting lineup should reflect that.

Some good takes here, but the one I agree with the most is more snaps for Banks Pope. Developed a clear chemistry with Cade in the spring game and how gotten involved whenever we have seen him play. I know he was not a big recruit or anything but who cares. Let the guy who produces play.

So you want to sit the starters?

My hope is we are using the first 3 games to find our best players and make them the starters. I think we've learned a lot about who we have and how they respond in game situations, and we will have a chance to learn a little more this Saturday before we begin the meat of our schedule and finalize the starting lineup accordingly.

To me, since we don't have a pre-season to figure this out, we have the first 3 games to do so.

What? No. I'm suggesting the depth chart be adjusted to move these guys up. Not saying the starters should be benched---that's ridiculous!! Let's be serious here, all of these guys will play. I'd just like to see these guys moar.

I would add Keith Adams Jr to that list. Would love to see more of that violent running he showed against CSU

I could add Adams to that list but his performance against CSU isn't much to work with.....CSU is one of the weakest if not the weakest FCS program around. If he performs well against FAU then yes, I think he makes the list.

I agree with almost all of these suggestions. I want to like Briningstool so much, however, he seems to constantly miss blocks that blow up plays. Would he do any better on the outside as an outside receiver in the red zone with Sapp or Pope at the TE position?

I see your point with seeing more of Jay Haynes (and Hammerhead Adams), however, I'm not sure we want to give up their redshirt year. I'm more in favor of getting Stellato and freshmen WRs with speed on the field, running routes, getting open and blocking!!!

We definitely need more quickness on offense and several of those guys seem to supply that.
