Don’t start bashing players!! Our coaches should be where the buck stops and if they don’t admit that, shame on them!!! They had a prodigy waiting in the wings yet don’t give him the time, reps, or chances to develop as a true frosh and we expect him to replicate acc champ game with his first true start as a true freshman!! I mean come on man!! Cade is the future of CU!!!! If you can’t see that I’m sorry….. but the play calling was abysmal…. As soon as something was working we abandoned it, from the airing it and getting pi’s called to running it down their throats! We had so many chances!! Let’s not even get into time of possession or total number of plays, let alone on their half of the field! And then just situational awareness!! He’s only a true frosh! I don’t know about yall but I’ll always bleed orange!! But am a realist and optimistic and it kills me!! Haha, as always Go tigers!!

Best thing Cade could do is leave, these people have serious delusions of what DW4 and Trevor looked like with the talent they had. Cade absolutely balled out tonight with the lack of blocking he got and the kid never quit. He’s going to be one hell of a QB and you got folks already starting with the Vizzina ########. Hope DJ has a great year next year so they feel ####### stupid

The only people somewhat bashing Cade are what’s left over of the cognitive dissonant DJ5 lovers that can’t believe they were wrong. Everyone else sees it’s the coaches

I totally agree… he played extraordinarily considering the circumstances! Should have had the lead from the get go, goes without saying but playing with a lead as a frosh is night and day compared to what Dabo put him in along with the ghosts potter was seeing!!

If Cade did leave they’d be wanting him back. I wasn’t expecting a win tonight, just good to see that Cade got the experience as a starter tonight.

It’s the Dj haters that ruin it for everyone, DJ wasn’t very good but he didn’t have much help. People all blamed it on DJ. Tonight Cade played well but had no help. He had a lot of drops. ### Ngata dropped a ball late in the 4th that two defenders tackles each other. I don’t think there were any Tennessee players around him. I think he scores a 90 yd touchdown. Tight ends dropped a couple. Oline wasn’t good. Secondary was burnt again on 3 plays. The quarterback needs more help around him. I don’t care who is starting week 1 next year. We need more help or get better.

What are you even talking about? Most people are not bashing Cade. There maybe a handful, but it’s far from a huge contingent. Most are disgusted with the red zone play calling, the horrendous special teams, and the bend but don’t break defense that broke completely open. We left, at a minimum, 15 points in the field from bad special teams and bad clock management.

Not the players
Nobody on the board bashes players. They are kids trying their best. Sometimes the decision to put a player on the field gets bashed. And that goes from DJ all the way to the Swinney Triplets. Fine young men but not D1 football players.

Yes cade is the guy. No doubt baller. He wore himself out in first half. In second half he started abandoning the pocket to the outside instead of taking it up the middle.
