Our fan base has become too soft. post after post about being happy with another loss last nite becvause we played hard? give me a break, a 3rd loss to USUCK in 5 tries, with them being unranked in all 5 is not acceptable. This is not last years team by a longshot so stop sugarcoating another bad loss. Back to back games with little or no defense, getting out rebounded last nite , we look soft out there. Brownell doesnt deserve a pass because of last year, this is our rival and this is not a good loss. We are playing some dumb basketball right now and dont look like a well coached team at this point.

i've seen bad Clemson basketball and last night was not one of them. The only dumb play was Dillon head butting that Ugusuks guy out of nowhere but outside of the first 5 minutes of sluggishness we played pretty good. SCAR just played better than their normal. They said that stute guy had his career high totals at 13 pts early in the 2nd half. I thought that was their best player or something.. apparently he usually suk$... he hit like 4 or 5 threes last night.. so how do you combat their sorry players hitting 5 three's? They just played off the charts from their norm. IT happens.

are one on one with shef or wiggins in the post adn they were eating them alive. So you play the odds.. do you give for sure points to their bigs and further inflict yourself with quicker foul trouble or do you hope and pray that their players revert back true to form and suk as they usually suk.

The only thing I would have done different is play the 7-2 kid more once Lahkin was gone or in foul trouble. Yes you lose some offense maybe but he was doing good with affecting their bigs shot selection. Pringle looked uncomfortable in that brief (5 minute) stint when Reeves was in. Because he wasn't free wheelin like he was against lahkin or even shef. That 7-2 wingspan was taking up alot of space down low and it helped turn the tide and stopped their little streak they were on in the beginning.

try playing defense they had wide open looks all nite? same thing against Memphis. If you only saw 1 bad play then dont think you watched the whole game. We committed bad turnovers, gave up offensive rebounds off of missed free throws 2x.

that was not a bad game for Clemson.. we didn't look sloppy.. like the final

minutes of Memphis. And in both games those teams hit their 3s. And didn't miss. What kills us is Wiggins has not defensive presence. He's 6-10 and really doesn't play like it on defense. I'd rather have had Reeves play to create pressure down low and more rebounding opportunities. We had to play small last night alot with shef and lahkin being in foul trouble.

The difference was their sorry players hit 3's and if you watch their next game I bet they brick half of those.

A lot of Clemson folks that like the coots better than the Tigers. That goes for grads as well. I worked for a Clemson Grad and I tell you I think he got great excitement when Clemson would lose. Never got overly excited over a win.

Agree 100%. Looks like the KY win was the miracle vs being a tough minded, physical team. Most basketball people know you attack players in foul trouble. Look at the replay of how many times we challenged that kid once he re-entered w four fouls at the 10 min mark in 2nd half. Also A LOT of players watching vs doing their jobs on D….rotating, boxing out, rebounding. Hope someone on the staff can get this turned around.
