If you actually paid attention, you wouldn't have to be told that, you would know.
I unfortunately didn't realize that 2 of our starters would stop being able to make open 3 pointers. We are just a few 3 pointers away from beating UNC, duke, and GT. The margin for victory is very small in basketball. This is a good team, and a well coached team. We just need to he able to make our open shots.
Luckily the first 11 games of our conference schedule were are way harder than our last 9 games. Hopefully we close the season out on some sort of streak.
Again, we are only half way through conference play. We are still likely projected in the tourney at this point. This team could easily still make it.

Talented , yes I agree on paper it’s one of the better teams we have had besides maybe the S16 team… well coached I’d have to disagree and if you watch us and watch other “well coached” teams or much basketball at all you would easily see that. Good thing is the season is not over and basketball is a game of runs and we can easily get hot and start a run but it better be VERY soon bc there’s absolutely no doubt if this team misses the tourney there needs to be change.

Poorly coached teams turn the ball over a lot, they take a lot of bad shots, and they are frequently out of position.
That doesn’t describe us. We play hard and are right there, we just have had some bad breaks this year.
Again, not saying that we are perfect. We have plenty to work on, but our biggest issue is that we’ve gone on a cold streak shooting.

And it’s getting better… Brownell is recruiting at a high level even though he is dealing with limited resources and sub par facilities.

Clemson Mountaineers said best in 20 years. But Neff referenced Hall returning and that this team was poised to be special as reason for staying the course with Brownell. He didn’t commit himself to “best ever” but he clearly expected this to easily be a tournament team. I’m sure he felt very vindicated in December while those of us who’ve been here for the 14 year ride knew what was coming.

it rivals the teams Barnes had. PJ Hall is one of the best players we have had at the center since Sharon Wright and Joseph Girard was a fantastic get. Point Guard has been our bugaboo, with a guy like Demontez Stitt, we would be sitting on 2-3 losses right now.
Nonetheless, the inability to put away teams, and finish close games shows has been a problem under Brownell, regardless of talent.
This team does not need a chaplain, it needs a shrink.

Not having a point guard is always a problem.
Coach maybe should have realized that would be an issue.

RIP good tiger. He was one of the last guys in basketball who hung around for 4 years at one school. Still hard to believe that he’s passed.

When you consistently lose close games with minutes remaining, that’s a sign of a team that is not well coached.
