D. Russell Wilson post N.C State

Watson is more talented than all if those guys...

Sep 28, 2014, 2:20 AM

Vince Young didn't have strong arm, wasn't anywhere close to accurate as Watson. Young also had a weird sidearm delivery.

Geno Smith is Jekyl and Hyde.

Bridgewater has good decision making ability, but he lacks the physical tools that Watson.

I would compare Watson to Manning/Brady/Brees, only much more athletic and a stronger arm. Shows the same type of poise, pocket presence, and accuracy those 3 guys have.

Yeah the same IQ that said Stoudt wouldn't be as good as Boyd...

and the same IQ that stated it was time to start Watson

hahaha.... I knew Watson would be the starting qb after the FSU game. Anyone with a pulse knew that....even Dabo- but there is a deeper story that we will never know....maybe Watson had your sense of humor

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I stated Watson should be the starter after the UGA game....

Sep 28, 2014, 5:13 AM

So you're little haha, lame sense of humor or whatever jibba jabba you're talking about just fell flat on it's face.

I don't think Deshaun is nearly that much of a dual threat

me a lot of the scam. But cam had more size, strength and those ridiculous runs he pulled out of his #### watson has a better a without question and he is smarter than cam. I think he's as fast if not faster than scam and is very elusive in the backfield. With all that said deshaun watson is a freshman, cam newton was no where near this good as a freshman or sophmore for that matter, with the way watson has looked and the tools he has he can be better than scam. Watsons arm is light years ahead of what scams was in college.

Reminds me a lot of Steve McNair too

such precision, as well as the amazing touch on his deep throws, reminds me of Aaron Rodgers....so probably a mix between Rodgers and Geno Smith for me.

IMO, we need to see him in some different

game situations. A final drive, down 5, with less than 2:00 left on the game clock. IMHO, dealing with adversity will be what determines DeShawn's legacy at CU. (Love Boyd, was behind him 100%, but Tajh was toast if he threw 2 picks in the 1st quarter. You almost knew there were surely 2+ more to follow). He's certainly passed all the tests so far! Great start by going into #1's house and out-playing them for 4 quarters. Certainly wasn't his fault we lost. For the record, he throws the deep ball as well placed and catchable as anyone I remember at CU.

He reminds me of a true freshman who wears # 4 and is still in a learning curve.
Three years from now,he might remind me of somebody else, but he's not somebody else.
He is Deshaun Watson, and hopefully the future of Clemson football.
