After the reorg... It will be like backyard football where the 2 conference ADs will alternate picks for the teams they want.

Literally half the teams in the playoff are neither SEC nor B1G.

Texas is in the SEC. Washington is in the B1G.

10 of the 12 teams in the Newy Years' Six are in one of those two conferences. The only exceptions are FSU and Liberty. (And, Liberty got in as the "token represnetative."

No, they aren't. Texas completed a Big 12 schedule against Big 12 teams, beating Oklahoma State for the Big 12 championship. Beating Bama this year doesn't make Texas an SEC team anymore than beating Auburn makes New Mexico State an SEC team. Washington, the same in the Pac 12.
