We had some bacon wrapped Halle-pennies stuffed with cream cheese from Publix (DO wreck or mend) along with some chili topped nachos, salsa and guac. Added some hot-ish sauce.
Dee-lish at the time, paying for it today.

Went to a party w a big spread, but my contribution were sliders. Kings Hawaiian rolls, did two types. One pepperoni pizza w marinara, mozzarella, parm, pepperoni, and banana peppers for a little acid, garlic butter & oregano on top. The other was steak and cheese, some med rare NY strip sliced thin, layered up with provolone and caramelized onions and a horseradish crema to dip them in.

bunch of rolls
dope sake (for the first time ever)
it was great. we were home by half time (eat early b/c kids). zero traffic, parking was a breeze, had the whole place to ourselves haha
did not do this on purpose. I guess it just slipped my mind as we didn't have any parties this year w/ neighbors' kids sick and what not. baby sitters (in-laws) couldn't come saturday so I just booked sunday on a whim-ish for our "valentine's date"
would recommend, probably will do again

Sonof- wanted pork belly so he made a couple different styles. And wifeof- wanted chips and queso.
Daughterof- had cheer team practice "until the team hits two full-outs in a row." They didn't get out until 9:45. :yikes:

a bit outside of the usual, but we enjoyed it. Probably best for a 5ish person gathering around the kitchen rather than a full blown party
