I don’t think Arizona state matters if they win it lose, big 12 champ will get that 12 seed reached who it is, and maybe Tulane would get it if I understand correctly if no big 12 is ranked.

The 12 spot is reserved for 1 more conference champ. We have to jump Indiana or smu/Miami loser. That’s the only shot. Arizona state is irrelevant
