My best friend’s brother in law is Ole Miss graduate Roland Burns. He lives in Texas and has worked his way into oil money. Roland has buildings on campus named after him. I don’t know if Roland has donated to their NIL but would not be surprised. Don’t forget the Tuohy family too.

Kiffin blew through boosters $$ Millions that they bet on this season being the big one, only to shyatt the bed against inferior competition and land a Car Quest Bowl vs Duke. And he's set to burn through that cash again for next season.
Kiffin is the kind of coach Ole Miss needs for sure, and the kind they deserve.

Yep. Kiffin believes in himself first and if someone else also benefits, then they owe him one. He used to jump teams at the first sign of trouble, but seems to have found like minded people at Old Mississippi. The people in Oxford must be composed predominantly of politicians, lawyers and advertising executives. I am guessing they deserve each other...

Kiffin cried about schools with a soft schedule but in a 2 year span will have played Furman, MTSU, Wake, Ga.Southern, Ga. State, The Citadel, Tulane, Washington St, and some of the SEC bottom feeders.

and oil barons loses me. Ole Miss is not Texas or Texas AM with oil money, nor is it Oregon with Nike money or Michigan with money from Oracle. It's not even Ohio State with a gigantic alumni base. It's frigging Ole Miss. I'm not aware of Ole Miss having any mega-boosters, and Google (if it's not lying to me) is showing the Clemson living alumni base as being larger than that of Ole Miss.
