Faici admitted that social distancing wasn’t a science based theory.
So we shut down outdoor activities for absolutely no reason.
We forced restaurants to close.
We forced schools to close.
It was all about social distancing.
So ####### stupid. Never again. Never again.

So he sat for seven hours of testimony and that's all we got out of it?

Does anyone have a link to the transcript?
You can see why people might be reluctant to testify behind closed doors since all we get are politicians and media spinning the testimony and it's impossible to verify its veracity.
Unsurprisingly, there is disagreement over what happened.

The CDC still recommends distancing as COVID prevention, so let's not pretend it's somehow been debunked.

Social distancing seems like common sense to me. I try to stay at least six feet away from people on general principle.
When you're dealing with a novel pandemic, you have to do the best you can with the information you have. That said, I'll withhold judgment until I can see for myself exactly what Fauci said.

make 10-14 day treatment unavailable. Let’s lie and say the vaccine was 95% effective, all the way down to 47% over time.
What should really open your eyes and did mine is when there was ZERO talk about vitamins, supplements, exercise….keeping track of heart rate (great indicator of oxygen deprivation) and the fact that they said, basically, sit tight and we will let you know when it’s “good”. We did that and their vaccine, which everyone wouldn’t take cause it was the “Trump Vaccine” all the sudden, after the election was great and if you didn’t take it, you are killing grandma.
If you still believe that social distancing and vaccines were the way out, we cannot agree on much of anything.

So when the worst pandemic in 100 years breaks out

what you want to hear from the experts whose careers are dedicated to infections and communicative diseases is to take vitamins, supplements, and exercise? This is like when Steve Jobs was diagnosed with the only treatable type of pancreatic cancer and he was like, "No medical intervention for me, thanks. I'm going to eat grapes and tree nuts."
Your account of what happened with the vaccine is untethered from reality. No reasonable person called it the "Trump vaccine" and said not to take it on that basis. Kamala Harris said something like she wouldn't trust its efficacy based on Trump's word alone, which seems like the most basic common sense. Almost everyone I know got the vaccine as soon as they could. Most people I know also got boosters.
Vaccines were absolutely the way out of the global pandemic. And you're probably right: If you don't think that's true, I can't imagine we'd agree on anything.

Please stand by your beliefs and assure us you are FULLY vaccinated. Should be up to rolling up sleeve (or sleeves if u obey shills like Kelce as well) for #7 right? Go ahead and post your card u r obviously so proud to fill up (probably already did so on FB or Insta anyway, right? If not, why not? Nothing like showing how much you care by continually accepting a shot never even tested for preventing transmission).
Pretty sure even you, who somehow STILL believes anything posted by our institutes of HEALTH has anything to do actual health of a citizen has not gone that far.
But go ahead, post and impress us (with the ongoing effectiveness of the biggest propaganda campaign - at least so far - if even one person is that stupid)

Fauci stated he did not recall over 100 times during his testimony. Fauci did say the 6 ft distance was NOT based on scientific data. Yet we were admonished over and over that we must follow the science.
He also is unsure of what has been proven regarding the negative effects the school closings have had on kids learning. The data is readily available.
He shirks responsibility for the school shutdowns which is very rich. He acts as if he had nothing to do with that.
https://nypost.com/2024/01/09/news/fauci-tells-house-covid-panel-hes-not-convinced-kids-suffered-learning-loss-due-to-pandemic-school-closures/
He parses his words regarding gain of function research in an almost Clintonian fashion.
He tried to discredit those suggesting COVID may have originated from the Wuhan lab. Now he admits that's possible and not a conspiracy theory.
He has yet as far as I know explained why he didn't address acquired immunity from actually having COVID.
I respected Fauci for a long time. I see very little reason now to respect this man who tried to shut down any questioning at variance to his opinions and who now acts as if he had nothing to do with school and business closures. Technically that's correct, but Governors and the Presidents followed his lead for the most part. He should be man enough to own it.
