So are people really not going to go because of the rain?

I can understand not wanting to have your family out in the rain for hours, but I'm surprised that people who paid a lot of money for tickets would cut and run at this point. It's still a huge game against Notre Dame, and you're going to be there to see it. Why not ride it out for the story? It could be legendary.
I'm seeing people predicting as few as 45,000-50,000 there for the game now. I just can't see that many people staying away.

I am not sure how anybody on earth thinks they have decent data to predict that.

I can usually only make it to one game a year, so it's always a big to-do whenever I can go. The rain would just add to the story.
