Apr 28, 2015, 9:14 PM

holy #####...

a brand new senior center was burned to the ground last night... but the best thing would be to send the cops home

So? He's just returning it to the sender

Apr 28, 2015, 9:32 PM

I honestly say let the police go home, let the ferals "feral", and when all is said and done, take the costs to repair the damage they caused from their welfare checks.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

And while we're at it, start taking the settlement money

Apr 28, 2015, 9:37 PM

From police brutality lawsuits out of police department payrolls and pension funds, rather than city coffers (cities where many of these cops don't even live.) Perhaps that would be more effective.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

how about stop committing crimes at such an alarming rate

Apr 28, 2015, 9:38 PM

maybe that would help if you don't like the perception of the cops

Crime rates in the US are actually at a historic low

Apr 28, 2015, 9:51 PM

Don't look now, but your ignorance is showing. ;)

Anyway, crime rates really have nothing to do with police brutality. It's more about having proper oversight and holding police accountable for their actions. The "blue wall of silence" is a major obstacle to justice.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

right... 85% of the crime in Baltimore is commited by

don't like the treatment, don't break the law

this is not hard

"I've been working since I was 15 continually until now. I worked 40 hours a week at 15, when it wasn't even legal for 15 year olds to work that many hours."

ok.. so the law says they must disperse at 10

Apr 28, 2015, 9:56 PM [ in reply to Crime rates in the US are actually at a historic low ]

will they break the law?

"I've been working since I was 15 continually until now. I worked 40 hours a week at 15, when it wasn't even legal for 15 year olds to work that many hours."

Sorry, but that's ridiculous

Apr 28, 2015, 11:10 PM [ in reply to Crime rates in the US are actually at a historic low ]

How does the lower rate of crime have anything to do with policing in high crime areas? The point is that more police-related violence (whether justified or not, a lot of people will be upset) occurs where there are more police, and there are more police where there is more crime. Police aren't just randomly shooting black people.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So the increase in police brutality is helping. Got it***

You touch that pension fund and all hell will break loose

Apr 28, 2015, 9:38 PM [ in reply to And while we're at it, start taking the settlement money ]

Maybe that actually would grab their attention.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

their attention for what?

Apr 28, 2015, 9:40 PM

a bad teacher has sex with a minor, but we aren't calling for an overhaul of education...

some bad cops make an individual decision to go to far, and they should be punished... but now we want it to be ok to burn and destroy property to "stand strong"...

##### is that?

Just seeing all sides of the argument here

Apr 28, 2015, 9:41 PM

I don't agree with the ferals or the police (the bad ones, not the majority of good ones)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Oh wait let me guess you are ummmmmm...

Payrolls and pension plans also come from city coffers.

Those pension plans aren't picked from trees. Their funded by city taxpayers, etc

Apr 28, 2015, 10:15 PM

interviewed just said the media's camera lights are inciting unrest and keeping people from obeying the curfew. It's everybody else's fault - as usual.

Re: And now it's the media's fault. State Senator being

Apr 28, 2015, 10:37 PM

yep it is their fault. I know this may be a different idea, but I think if the people arrested did not run, struggle with the police, not resist arrest, a lot of this police brutality would stop. Or maybe even don't commit the crime,,crazy idea, huh?

What all these thugs are doing is making fools of themselves. They are representing their families and it just shows their upbringing, which leads to crime, which leads to arrest, which leads to resisting arrest...which leads to force. Yep, that camera in their faces cause all of this.

The black communities should be addressed by someone in their communities that they respect and this person needs to teach the right way to protest.

In this case, I hope no new pharmacy is built, no new liquor stores are built and no new grocery stores are built. Without those and having to travel distances to get their supplies,,,,then they are SOL. They have made it so inconvenient for the elderly in that neighborhood that is could actually cause some really bad things to happen to people.

But that cameras and media started it all..........................NOT
