Everyone currently focusing on Miami since they lost today as Clemsons best chance to make ACC championship game if they lose to wake or Syracuse. What happens if Virginia beats SMU. SMU would have common opponent win vs Louisville but we would have common opponent win vs Virginia. Would that then go to winning % of all opponents for tie breaker or does SMU really have to lose twice for us to make it over them?

Apparently we are out unless smu disintegrates. Makes the Louisville loss after abye much more Incomprehensible

The Louisville loss was unacceptable and devastating to our ACC chances. They were our only common opponent with both Miami and SMU... and happened with an extra week or practice to plan for it... smh

Since they use a common opponent with the best record, more than likely that will be Louisville. We would be out.

would give Miami the 1 seed then win % against highest common opponent would break SMU/Clemson tie to UVA would have to be above UL. Since UVA lost to UL they essentially need to win out and have UL lose twice more. So most likely scenario for us getting in is 1 Miami loss or 2 SMU from here on out. UL was simply a must win for us given they had both played and lost to both SMU and Miami.
